Mera Publications is a Canadian-owned and operated company registered in Nepal. We produce our own books on the region and do contract work for international agencies and non-governmental organizations working in Nepal to produce publications including training manuals, lessons learn documentation, and annual reports.
About
Frances Klatzel
Frances Klatzel is at home in the Canadian Rockies and the Himalaya. From 1983-89, she helped create a museum and Sherpa Culture at Tengboche Monastery near Mount Everest. She worked with the Abbot to document the culture and edited the Abbot’s Stories and Customs of the Sherpas book.
Since then, she has written or published other books and worked doing documentation, photography, writing, strategic communications, and editorial work for a variety of development organizations and worthy causes.
